Owls lose 3-0 to Lipscomb
NASHVILLE, Tennessee. – The Kennesaw State women’s soccer team lost 3-0 to the Lipscomb Bisons in a rainy game on Sunday at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
“I thought Lipscomb outscored us at the start of the game,” said head coach Benji walton. “It took us a while to get started and we had to do better with the details. We weren’t as efficient as Thursday, and we were punished for it. We have to look at ourselves in the mirror, regroup, and refocus because let the division game start on Thursday and we have a tough opponent in FGCU. I am proud that we fought and as the match progressed we fought harder and harder. ‘just haven’t started our orientation. ”

KSU conceded a penalty with a foul in the box, allowing the Bisons to take a 1-0 lead in the 42nd minute.
After Lipscomb took a 2-0 advantage, the Owls had a chance to pass Agata Giani clear of the goal line.
The final whistle was scored 3-0, with Lipscomb scoring on his last shot of the match.
The Owls will return to the training ground to prepare for a Thursday night clash in Fort Myers, Fla. Against the FGCU at 7 p.m.
