THE GAME: Oregon State’s No. 10 ranked men’s soccer team will host Seton Hall Friday night at Lorenz Field.

Mouhameth Thiam led the Beavers with five game-winning goals last season, despite starting just nine of Oregon State’s 20 games

Joran Gerbet earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors last season, joining Joe Zaher, Robbie Findley, Danny Mwanga, Timmy Mueller and Sofiane Djeffal as Beavers to earn the honor (Findley, Mwanga, Mueller and Djeffal were all selected in the MLS draft following their careers with the Beavers)
Nicklas Lund led all Oregon State outfielders with 1,870 minutes played last season, starting all 20 games on the OSU backline.
Gael Gibert, Javier Armas and Lund are the only three Beavers to play every minute in the first two games.
– The Beavers have taken 17 corner kicks this season, compared to six for their opponents.

The encounter :
– Friday will mark Oregon State’s first-ever game with Seton Hall.
– The Beavers faced a Big East opponent last season, St. John’s in the NCAA Tournament. Oregon State won that game 2-0, with Javier Armas and Mouhameth Thiam score the goals.
