COLLEGE SOCCER: Peninsula Guardian Musuai Isaia signs with Washington State

PULLMAN – Peninsula College goaltender Musuai Isaia has signed a letter of intent to play between positions on the nationally-ranked Washington State University women’s football team.

Isaia announced the decision via her Instagram page.

“Super excited and blessed to finally announce that I am continuing my education and football career at Washington State University!”

Isaia, a sophomore on the Pirates winning Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) team this fall, was named the NWAC All-Star after scoring the conference’s best goal against a average of 0.18 per game and recorded 10 shutouts.

She will join a team of Cougars that have made eight trips to the NCAA tournament since 2012, including a 2017-21 stretch interrupted only by the pandemic in 2020.

Isaia will join a group of WSU goalies that include Nadia Cooper, the Pac-12 conference goaltender and 2021 Rookie of the Year.
